1. Overview & Commitment to Zero-Telemetry

Fast-BD ("we", "us", or "our") develops the Fast-BD ProposalCraft Chrome Extension. We firmly believe that your personal business data, proposal strategies, and Upwork account credentials belong exclusively to you.

Fast-BD does not operate centralized logging servers, analytics trackers, or user data collection backends. The extension operates on a local-first, client-side execution model.

2. Data We DO NOT Collect

• We do not collect or transmit your Upwork passwords, session cookies, or payment information.
• We do not log your job search history, clients’ names, or proposal texts to any server.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to any third-party advertisers or data brokers.

3. Local Storage on Your Device

All sensitive configuration items—including your AI API Key (Google Gemini or OpenAI), user bio, portfolio links, and preferences—are stored exclusively in your browser’s isolated local storage (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your computer, except when communicating directly with the AI provider you explicitly chose.

4. Third-Party AI Services

When you request proposal generation or screening question autofill, the job text and your configured profile details are sent directly via encrypted HTTPS requests from your browser to your selected AI provider (e.g., Google AI Studio / Gemini API or OpenAI API).

These requests are governed by the respective privacy policies of those providers. Under standard commercial API terms (both Google Cloud Vertex AI and OpenAI API), data sent via API is not used to train public machine learning models.

5. Payments & Transaction Information

All paid license purchases are processed through our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy (or Paddle). Fast-BD never stores, processes, or sees your credit card number, CVV, or banking credentials. Transaction records, tax compliance, and VAT handling are managed securely by Lemon Squeezy under strict PCI-DSS compliance.

6. Upwork ToS Compliance

Fast-BD complies fully with platform policies. The extension acts purely as an assistive interface helper (human-in-the-loop). It does not engage in automated scraping, automated unattended bidding, or evasion of platform security controls.
